DemandProofHQ is an independent idea validation and demand research tool. We help founders, indie hackers, SaaS builders, agencies, and product teams organize public demand signals into a structured research report before they commit time and money to building something new.
DemandProofHQ scans publicly available signals — Reddit conversations, product review sites, public feature request boards, competitor pages, and search/social indicators — and organizes them into a source-linked research report. The goal is to give you a clearer research workflow, not a promise of outcome.
DemandProofHQ does not guarantee market demand, customers, revenue, funding, product-market fit, or business success. Reports are based on available public signals, the inputs you provide, and reasonable assumptions — they are a research aid, not a certification. DemandProofHQ is not financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying assumptions and making your own business decisions. See our Disclaimer for details.
Every DemandProofHQ score comes from a deterministic, rules-based model — the same inputs always produce the same score. It is not machine learning, and it does not predict business outcomes.
The model starts from a baseline and adjusts based on measurable properties of what you submit: how specific your idea description is, how well-defined your target customer is (broad answers like “everyone” are penalized), how clearly the problem is described, whether the wording implies real business urgency, and — when you attach a Demand Scan — how many public Reddit signals were found and how many scored strongly. Every report shows the specific reasons behind its score, so you can see exactly what moved it up or down.
Each report also carries a confidence label (Low, Moderate, or High) reflecting how much detail and public evidence it was built from — a thin submission with no signals will always show Low confidence, even if the score itself is high. Public signal coverage today is limited to Reddit; review sites, public roadmaps, and live competitor or search-volume data are not yet connected, and reports say so directly rather than presenting placeholder numbers as real data.
We treat this as versioned methodology, not a black box: reports record which scoring version produced them, and if the model changes materially, older reports keep showing the version they were generated under. See a full walkthrough on the sample report page.
